Hey Akshata, Your yoga classes were truly one of the best things that happened to me during my pregnancy. I stayed active and completely free of body aches because of your guidance. I genuinely enjoyed our sessions every day and always looked forward to those morning classes—I miss them so much now. Your classes kept my sanity intact, especially with the extra care you show and the beautiful activities you include, like painting, brain exercises, dance, journaling, and so much more ♥️. My labor ended up being quite intense — 6.5 hours of pushing — which I never expected. But I got through it only because of the breathing techniques you taught me. Before getting the epidural, I dilated from 1 to 5 cm within just two hours, and I could handle the pain because of your “exhale through the mouth” breathing. That truly made all the difference. Thank you so much — you are absolutely the best! One small piece of advice for other moms-to-be: try different pushing techniques during labor and don’t rely solely on what the nurse instructs. I feel my labor lasted longer because I didn’t follow my intuition and only did what my nurse suggested.

I had the privilege of learning prenatal yoga from Akshata Shah during my pregnancy, and I'm truly grateful. She is extremely polite, patient, and understanding. Her guidance helped me not just physically, but mentally as well. During my labor, which lasted 6 hours without an epidural, I used the breathing techniques she taught-and they made a huge difference. Prenatal Yoga

I love doing yoga and I'm doing it since childhood and I'm very grateful that I joined prenatal yoga. I'm very thankful to you for teaching us why we do this Asan and how it helps during pregnancy and delivery that made a lot of difference for me. The meditation we did in class is my favorite. It helped me to stay calm and focused. The Birthing Ball exercises helped a lot for dilation. I was almost 5cm dilated when I reached hospital and took epidural as I was unable to bear the pains. And in 5hrs I was fully dilated and with land half hour of pushing finally saw my baby fa. Staying calm and keeping my face calm with breathing helped me a lot during pushing. The Nurses were shocked that I'm pushing so easily. I told them about my classes and they were like you did a good job! Thank you Akshata for teaching me the use of each Asan and breathing exercise. Forever grateful to the care that you take of each one in the class.

Got to know about Akshatha's prenatal Yoga through friends and attended the demo class. After the class I really felt good and joined the yoga sessions regularly. Even when I am lazy and not regular thank you Akshatha for making sure l attend the classes . Your personal attention felt really special. Your guidance through out the pregnancy, discussion about labour, postpartum and recovery during the yoga sessions were very helpful. Thank you for teaching breathing techniques and it really helped me during my labour. All the Garbh sanskar activities you include after yoga sessions are very interesting and I always look forward for those activities. After delivery I am missing those activities. Specially the activity book you send is very good and activities are very addictive. Thank you so much for all the guidance, care, instructions and information. Hi Akshata, as excited I am for my baby to arrive, I am equally bummed that I won't be able to attend your classes anymore I so looked forward to them every day. The kind of attention and warmth you give is on another level. I never thought I'll enjoy prenatal yoga so much. Not just the asanas, but the activities you do are so refreshing too. I can easily say that my pregnancy journey has been so smooth because of your classes. The breathing exercises have been a game changer in my normal routine as well because apparently I was breathing in and out incorrectly The way you conduct your classes shows your compassion towards what you are doing and how committed you are. I was looking for a prenatal yoga teacher during my second trimester and thats when my mother in law referred me to your classes. I spoke to you over the phone and instantly liked your sweet and calming vibe. Your classes have not only helped me stay physically active but also provided a sense of calm and relaxation that I greatly needed in this journey. Your warm and encouraging approach makes every session a joy to attend. You always make sure to check in on me and how I am feeling before we start the class which I greatly appreciate. I look forward to every session with you. Your exercises have helped me a lot to gain flexibility, your garbhsanskar activities have given me a much needed relaxing and bonding time with my feelings, your couple yoga class was my favorite and it was a very special time spent with my husband and our baby. I am incredibly grateful to have you as my prenatal yoga teacher. You were always punctual, dedicated, and truly cared about every single student in our class. You paid close attention to our practice, gently correcting yoga poses when needed and effectively. The breathing exercises you taught were invaluable- especially during labor. They helped me manage contractions so much better than I ever imagined. I went into labor without the need to be induced, felt confident and prepared, and the experience was smooth because I consistently followed the techniques you shared. The duck walks made a huge difference and probably why I dilated fast without medical intervention.

Akshata’s class is the highlight of my day as much as anything for the peace and mental space I find. I am her first prenatal student after she finished her Garbh sanskar certification. I started her yoga class before I got pregnant and I knew then that I want her to be supporting me throughout my pregnancy journey. Her classes are professional, inclusive and most of all very enjoyable. She is very talented and knowledgeable about her poses and she makes sure I do them correctly. She is super calm and gentle but effective at the same time. She makes sure by end of the class I am relaxed but energized. I love how she motivates me but never pushes and finds an alternative way of doing things depending on experience. Akshata is very sensitive about her student’s particular needs and she will make sure to be very flexible with anyone’s schedule. I highly recommend this sweet, kind, peaceful and supportive person
